Aunty Dot Side effects mainly were sleeping a lot very tired
Andrea I did get very very tired for quite a while afterwards
Lilah One week I’d be okay you know and then the after that I have another set of chemo it would take me down you know all I would do is just sleep like from three o'clock and right through to 10 o'clock at night
Sally Certainly had to learn to take things easy a bit because if I didn't I sort of felt it the next day
Marilyn Sometimes I just didn't want to get out of bed I couldn't get out of bed the chemo like the first couple of weeks was all right but then when it got to the stages like months I was really, really crook
Erica I get aches in the joints this here is always swollen even in the back of me it's always sore and that
Sally The most frustrating thing for me was that I just felt like I’ve lost a lot of my core strength for a long time it was really hard getting out of out of the seat there were times where I couldn't even stand up in the shower that I found it really hard so it was easier not to have a shower
Natasha Had bone pain and you know things like that that affected me but just know that it's just part of everything that you're going to go through
Glenda I can't pick up a coin or a needle or you know coin on the floor I can't pick it up neuropathy in my fingers and in my feet
Lilah I feel numbness it's still in my fingers I feel numbness on my arm my left arm where I have removed the lymph nodes I have numbness on my feet as well I can't walk on rocks or anything like that you know it's too my feet would be it's too sensitive
Aunty Dot The feet are the things that bother me the most and somebody suggested I should go walk along the beach because apparently the sand is a really good thing for your feet and your nerves in your feet
Marilyn Your fingertips all your nerves goes you get very bad diarrhea like gastric ulcers in your mouth you lose all this sense of smell tastes bad chemo was my worst my fingernails went black you know and I have really dark patches on my eyes and lost all my weight
Lilah You can lose your appetite which I did I lost a bit of weight
Natasha Even if it's uncomfortable it's a for a very short period of time while you're going through all your treatments
