DCIS

DCIS

A diagnosis of DCIS can be scary and confusing. Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) is not invasive breast cancer and is not life-threatening. You may need treatment, but DCIS has a good prognosis.

Care, support and treatment are available. It’s important to understand any risks around your individual diagnosis so you can make the decisions that are right for you.
