If you’d like help us improve our online services, please select the activities you're interested in via the ‘expression of interest’ form. 

  1. Surveys
    Online questionnaire to help us understand what people expect and prefer from various services and features. 
    When: various, May to mid July
    Duration: 10 to 15 minutes
    Who’s involved: participants complete the activity in their own time
  2. Interviews
    We’ll ask about the ways in which you might want to track or record your breast cancer experience, to find out how we can support that. You don’t have to use any tools currently. We record participants in this activity. 
    When: May to early July
    Duration: 45 to 60 minutes
    Who’s involved: 1 participant, 2 researchers and 1 BCNA observer
  3. Usability Testing (with facilitator)
    Moderated testing sessions gather feedback about how easy or intuitive features are to use and how people feel about the layout and design. We record participants in this activity. Desktop/laptop or mobile.
    When: various, May to end July
    Duration: 45 minutes
    Who’s involved: 1 participant, 2 researchers and 1 BCNA observer
  4. Usability Testing (solo, no facilitator)
    In an unmoderated testing session, we ask for feedback on how easy or intuitive features are to use and your views of the layout and design. We record the screen participants use in this activity. Desktop/laptop only.
    When: various, May to end July
    Duration: 20 to 30 minutes
    Who’s involved: participants complete the activity in their own time
  5. Website IA (structure) testing
    To help us organise and label information in a way that makes it easy to find and use, we will test proposed changes to the website structure. We don’t record participants, only the options they choose and any notes they provide. 
    When: July
    Duration: 15 to 20 minutes
    Who’s involved: participants complete the activity in their own time
