We’ve given it a brand new look and feel – created for a more user-friendly experience for you – but we’ve of course kept the features and trustworthy content we know you love.
Our new website has been designed to support those affected by breast cancer, wherever they are on their journey. So, we’ve added some new features and updated some of our previous offerings, which we’d love to bring your attention to.
Our Information & Resources Hub allows users to explore articles, podcasts, webcasts and personal stories to help navigate their diagnosis. This includes our multilingual resources, which communicate information about early breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer in several languages, along with a new print function that allows you to download or print any articles.
The Online Network is our peer-to-peer support community, which continues to provide a safe space to connect, share stories, and ask for advice.
The refreshed Service Finder allows visitors to the site to pinpoint services near them, government programs, and support groups in their area.
A new Helpline self-referral form allows you to easily book in a call from our Helpline team on a day and time that suits you.
And please pop by our refreshed Media Centre, where you’ll be able to view our latest news and media releases to stay in the know.
Have questions? Our Helpline team is on call at 1800 500 258 to field your queries or provide help navigating the new site.
In the creation of this new website we have used a variety of images and stories provided by our members and other individuals. If you locate an image of yourself on the website that you do not provide consent to use, please email media@bcna.org.au with a copy of the image and we will endeavour to remove it within 48 hours of receiving your email notification.
This website upgrade is part of a wider digital transformation project for BCNA as we continue to ensure we are providing the very best experience for consumers, carers, and health professionals seeking information and support in the breast cancer space.
We are aiming to:
BCNA have added new features to the website such as the Information and Resource Hub – where you can search all our resources by topic, diagnosis and media preferences. By tagging and categorising all our content, we can provide you with the information you need, at the time you need it. No more overwhelm of information.
The Helpline self-referral form – allows members to request a time when the helpline will call back at their convenience.
Our new service finder feature will be added as soon as possible, but won’t be ready for go live. The Helpline team can assist with finding services.
You should also find the new site easier to navigate to find content relevant to you (whether you are a member, HP, volunteer, fundraiser or more). It’s easy to find through the navigation function, but you can also easily search through the new information & resource hub.

Yes! The Online Network button is located on the top right hand corner of the homepage. Once you click on the button it will take you to the Online Network portal.
Yes. BRECONDA hasn’t changed. The landing page will look different, but you can still access it via the ‘Support’ menu heading under ‘My Decision’ on the new website.
Yes. The landing page will look different, but the portal is the same. HPs can still log in as normal. The Health Professional portal continues to be located at the top of the page in the top menu and can also be found through the footer.
Yes! My Journey hasn’t changed. You can find a link to My Journey under ‘Support’ in the menu located at the top of the page.
At the moment you will need to use the print feature in your browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Chrome etc) or click ‘control’ and ‘p’ keys. We are working hard to bring you the feature that will allow you to download and print a neat, formatted copy of our resources direct from the page. Please contact the Helpline on 1800 500 258 if you needed assistance printing a document/article.
We’ve been able to put in place redirects which means when you go open a bookmarked page from our old website you will automatically be redirected to the same page on our new website. You shouldn’t have any problems, but please let us know if something doesn’t work.
To streamline our services and ensure your enquiry gets to the right person as quickly as possible, we now use a Get in touch form. These are located at the top left of the homepage and the very bottom of all pages. You can select the area or topic of your enquiry and it will be sent directly to the right team that can assist with your enquiry.
We know that people like being able to contact someone directly if they have a question or enquiry. In order to streamline our systems and processes, we have moved to a Get in touch form approach which directs your enquiries to the appropriate department. This means that your enquiry can be dealt with quickly and isn’t dependent on any 1 person being available. We’d hate for you to wait days for a response if a team member is on leave.
We also know that cyber criminals use email addresses they find on the internet to hack systems and undertake cyber-crime. Having email addresses on the website leaves BCNA open to cyber security risks. Ensuring the security of our systems and that data they contain is paramount to us as it contains very sensitive information about our members that we want to keep secure.
The Helpline self-referral form is designed for BCNA members to identify a time for helpline staff to call them back. This helps us to ensure we support you at a time that is convenient to you. This is located by going to the Helpline page found via the ‘Support’ menu heading under ‘Call the Helpline’. The form can be found at the bottom of the page.
The Information and Resources Hub is a new feature on the website enabling you to search and filter across all the different BCNA resources. This will enable you to easily find the content you need when you need it and in the formats (media types) you prefer. You can now filter for breast cancer resources and information based on your diagnosis and stage, topics you may be interested in and media types you prefer (e.g. podcasts, articles, webcasts/videos, personal stories etc). You can also change how many resources you want to see at a time.
At this stage no – but this is something we are working towards in the future.
We are aiming to have a ‘Service Finder’ feature available on the new website. This will enable you to search for support services in your area by topic and location. We are working hard to have this ready as soon as possible. Until this new feature is ready, you can call the Helpline on 1800 500 258 and they can assist you to find a service.
Our multilingual resources are being updated and will be available soon. If you would like to access our multilingual resources immediately, please contact our Helpline on 1800 500 258 for printed copies.
We are currently updating our accessible resources to more effectively support the diverse needs of our community. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will have these improvements available soon.
There are a few different ways you can provide feedback about your experience with BCNA and our new website.
Our volunteer sign-up form will be added to the website soon. In the meantime, you can get in contact with our Volunteer Coordinator by completing the Get in touch form and selecting “Volunteer opportunities” under “I’d like to talk to someone about”.
On the header of our website there is a Shop button. This will take you to the BCNA online store.
As part of the digital transformation, we have upgraded our donation form to provide a secure, quick and easier way to donate.
To streamline our services and ensure your enquiry gets to the right person as quickly as possible, we now use a Get in touch form. These are located at the top left of the homepage and the very bottom of all pages. You can select the Corporate partnerships area or topic of your enquiry and it will be sent directly to the right team that can assist with your enquiry
