Online Network Legacy Process

Online Network Legacy Process

This document outlines the process required to inform BCNA of your Online Network account change preferences, in the event of your death.

Written consent to helpline@bcna.org.au is required to ensure your account change preferences are followed.

BCNA requires this consent via email, and depending on your change preferences, should include the following:

  1. Request to memorialise account and profile
If you would like your Online Network account and profile to be memorialised, please include that as an instruction in your email. On notification of your death (see family instructions below) BCNA will update your profile to reflect ‘in- memoriam’
  2. Request to delete account
If you would like your Online Network account and profile to be deleted on notification of your death, please include that as an instruction in your email.
  3. Important Information for your family
It is crucial to note that BCNA cannot act upon any of these requests unless we are directly informed by a family member. In the event of your death, a direct family member or legal representative will need to email helpline@bcna.org.au or call 1800 500 258, and provide consent to enact your previously communicated account preference changes, which we will have on file.

If you have questions relating to this process, please email helpline@bcna.org.au or call 1800 500 258.
